Girbau showed off its latest products at the Clean 2013 fair, held in New Orleans (USA) from 20th to 22nd June. Energy saving was one of the key factors in the group’s image at the event, for both self-service and in-house and industrial laundries.
At a stand with 500m2 of space, the Girbau team at the Clean 2013 trade fair showed off the advantages offered by the new technical advances in their products to make laundries more efficient and productive.
The president of Continental Girbau (the subsidiary in the United States), Mike Floyd, explained that “we’ve put on demonstrations in different parts of the stand to make it an interactive space, not just a shop window for machines.”
Girbau took advantage of the Clean fair to launch new products grouped into three areas: self-service; in-house laundries for businesses like hotels, old people’s homes, sports centres, restaurants and so on; and industrial laundries. In all three business areas, energy saving is a key factor, and one which defined the image of the group at one of the top international fairs in the laundry sector.
Highlights among the Girbau launches at Clean included the new industrial dryer systems, with the Ecodryer dryers (capacities from 10 kg to 37 kg) and the ST-1300 dryers (63.5 kg capacity), as well as the Compact flatwork ironing system, which features 5 functions in a single piece of equipment (feeding, ironing, drying, folding and stacking).
According to the Sales, marketing and service vice-president of the Girbau group, Toni Rubiés, “The goal at this year’s Clean was for laundry owners to see for themselves the savings to be made by using the new equipment, and at the same time for international equipment distributors to see the market potential of Girbau machinery for penetrating new market segments.”
